An exchange of filmed correspondence between three documentarists, respectively Indonesian, Serbian and South Korean. Attentive to cultures other than their own, each films zones with blurred or shifting borders.

In the middle of the Schaalsee runs the bureaucratically precisely defined "fluid border" between the FRG and GDR. One night a storm shifts a buoy of the border line. While the border and measuring troops from East and West meticulously try to restore order, two land surveyors throw their prejudices overboard and tear down the border between them for a short time.

Twin sisters with disfiguring burn scars are ordered by their bedridden mother to kill their abusive father who caused their scars. They must decide whether to seek vengeance or find mercy.

He joins a group of soldiers equipped with powerful mechas to fight against the Blue for hope of a better future.

Again and again, he plans to tell her his true feelings, but each time something – usually a misunderstanding of some kind – gets in the way. Things complicate further when Itsuki Akiba – whom Ichitaka was friends with in their childhood before she moved to the United States – returns, her crush on him still intact.
